I had such high hope for this book especially since i LOVED LOVED bad mouth, I am probably only one of the few who has given it only 3 stars but while I loved Ian and the story line was good though it lacked at bit of originality, I just did not like Alice, god she annoyed me at every turn which was unexpected from reading bad mouth I thought Alice was going to be kickass and with hidden depths turns out I was wrong, she based her views on her brother incident and even then being part of company that investigates she should have known not everyone is a bad cop. Though I wanted to be sympathetic towards Alice and her situation with the brother, at the start of the book I was but after a few pages I wasn't, I couldnt be because of the way she was acting. It was kind of obvious what was going to happen. The end was rushed so many things happened just like a train wreck. I feel so disappointed. I guess I was expecting awsomeness and just got something that could have been awsome but really wasnt.

If i was rating only on Ian i would give 5 stars, not only for other reasons but also because he put up with Alice. I also he should have made alice grovel a bit.
